Arriving late to class

Knowing how Mrs. Swan is not a fan of students being late to her class or class in general I am still going to complain about my psych. teacher, don't get it twisted I too know coming to class late is a bad look...I am still going to complain for now (I had one of those days that day...so I am venting now) ;). However, teachers need to realize things do happen that may cause you to be late that you just can't prevent. For example, my car broke down Monday morning and still isn't fixed by the way. Anyway knowing I had class on Tuesday at 9:40am I had been trying to find another ride all day, once I found a ride for Tuesday it was late Monday night. Any who I make it to class about twenty minutes late because my ride didn't come until nine, plus I had to drive to school and find a parking spot which took forever! (we all know how that  can be). Once I got into class my teacher calls me out and tells me to see her after class, so I go up to her after class and she says...I quote "You were late"....(as I think...really...you've already made that known?) So, there I am not making up any excuses just trying to tell her what had happen and trying to let her know I won't let it happen again.........she wasn't trying to hear that....she fanned me out the door! Now that was extremely rude and made me really mad. Teachers like that make me not even want to come to class. I get it, I was late, it was the second day of class.....relax!
